シロオニスタジオ
群馬県鬼石にあるアーティスト・イン・レジデンス「シロオニスタジオ」にて、訪日外国人アーティストのための茶の湯ワークショップを随時開催しています。
茶道の歴史を解説したプレゼンテーションと、実際に点前を体験するデモンストレーションの二部構成となっており、約1時間ほどで茶の湯・茶道の概要が分かるようになっています。
「他ではできない貴重な体験ができた」「日本の美意識について知ることができ、作品制作のインスピレーションとなった」と大変人気のワークショップです。

Shirooni Workshop
Shirooni Studio, an artist-in-residence in Onishi, Gunma Prefecture, offers occasional chanoyu workshops for foreign artists visiting Japan.
It consists of two parts: a presentation on the history of the tea ceremony and a demonstration of the actual practice of tea ceremony.
It has become a very popular workshop, with many people saying that it was a unique and valuable experience and that it gave them inspiration to create their own works of art, as well as a chance to learn about the Japanese sense of beauty.
