Vogue Magazine: Fashion’s Night Out Tokyo
On November 5, 2011, Vogue hosted a one-night-only tea room on Fashion Avenue that was created for New York designer Vivienne Tam.
Fashion’s Night Out Tokyo, hosted by Vogue magazine. New York designer Vivienne Tam’s theme this year is “Vivienne Tam Meets Tea Girl”! A secret tea party for clients took place in a tea room built for one night, called Kochouan, where tea master, Fuyuko Kobori, entertained fashion people and celebrities with tea.
Fuyuko Kobori, the proprietor of the tea house, welcomed the fashionistas and celebrities with tea.
The theme for the tea ceremony was “Butterfly Dream”, and the butterfly, the signature of the Vivienne Tam brand, has been luring people into a dream since ancient times. Vogue’s event highlights the glamour and status of both the tea ceremony and fashion. Fuyuko Kobori’s presence as a female tea master is both rare and contemporary like designer Vivienne Tam’s brand.
