Chanoyu is the origin of hospitality and has a 500-year history. In this workshop, participants could easily enjoy the tea ceremony with flowers and delicious sweets in a modern living room.

Participants were invited to experience a flower arrangement by Mari Yamaoka, a florist, and Fuyuko Kobori, who taught them how to prepare and enjoy tea. Beautiful furniture from Arflex Tokyo, the interior shop of the venue, was used to set up different types of tea tables for different occasions, offering a simple way to enjoy the tea ceremony.

リビングスタイルで楽しむ、茶の湯を取り入れたおもてなし おもてなしの原点であり、500年の歴史を持つ茶の湯。茶室に花を活けてのお点前やおいしいお菓子でのおもてなしを、現代のリビングスタイルで簡単に楽しめるワークショップを開催しました。参加者の皆さまにはフローリストとして活躍する山岡まり氏によるおもてなしのフラワーアレンジメントと、小堀芙由子による簡単なお茶の点て方や楽しみ方を体験していただきました。会場のインテリアショップ、アルフレックス東京の美しい家具を用いてシチュエーションやオケージョン別の茶席を設え、茶の湯の気軽な楽しみ方を提案しました。
